How it all started
The guys have all been in bands for a long time. They finally got together in 2023 and knew right from the first jam session that they had something special.
Our story
Every great journey begins with a story. Ours is no different. Danny had moved back to Sligo after many years in Dublin. He played in many bands before but not in his hometown. He would soon change this and set in search of a band. First he found Gerry. Through a bit of luck and a chance meeting at a Metalica tribute band they agreed in principle to trying to start a band. Now Danny was just searching for that bass player to finish the line-up.
This wasn’t exactly how it progressed as soon after Danny bumped into Ultan. They really clicked and had met a few times when Danny saw Ultan singing with a band supporting The Churchouse Creepers, a local Sligo punk band with tonnes of talent. Danny knew he wanted Ultan in the band. He needed Ultan in the band. Oh yes, he will be in the band.
Next up Danny met Moe on a night out. Moe was talking about music and singing with little to no shyness at the bar. Danny showed Moe a draft set list and Moe agreed to jam. He said he would be ready in 2 weeks and a date with destiny was agreed.
Our Music
Our music covers a wide range of hard classic rock tunes. Bands we cover include Rory Gallagher, Thin Lizzy, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, Black Sabbath. We are also influenced by many other styles/genres of music and encorporate these into some of our favorite songs.
The songs we play have to be fun for us. If we aren’t having fun then why would the audience have fun? No gig goes the same and no song is played the same. We love to keep things fresh and constantly add to our set.
For 2024 one of our main goals is to get our original music to a level we are happy with to share with the world. We are currently working on our first EP and hope to record it during the summer.
Our other goal is to play more gigs than we did last year. Last year being our first year went well for a band starting out. We want to keep that momentum going and keep growing our audience and improving our music.
